If we started banning fighters for all kinds of illegal tactics, this generation's ATG list would be cut short.

There's no proof Margarito ever entered a fight with illegal wraps (it was re-done vs. Mosley), therefore you are banning based on what?

Whereas there's proof of Roy Jones, Shane Mosley, James Toney and others using illegal substances to be more powerful, quicker, stronger, be able to throw more puncher etc. Therefore it falls under the same category: hurting the opponents more that the figher could do it 'clean'.

But let's not assume Margarito (never proven guilty of actually fighting with illegal wraps), Mosley, Jones and Toney used illegal tactics in all of their fights, because we can only proove the fights in they were caught.

Let's not ban Mosley, Toney, Margarito and Jones, okay?

At first i had a hard time believing Tony didn't know what was going in his wraps, then i realized Capetillo was inserting the "questonable substance" into his pads. I really don't think Margo was behind the scandal. Once his year is up, I would like to see what he gots left to give.
I want to see if Margo lost something in the ring against Cotto. He took some well placed, hellacious shots en route to his victory. Did Cotto put a crack in that granite chin? A crack that Mosley later exposed?
I want to see Tony fight again, i doubt he can make 147 and there are plenty of challenges at 154.

I honestly do not think Margarito knew what his trainer was doing I really do not beleive that...
Sure his "Trainer" Said he prepaired them prior to.... Sure his trainer took the heat for it, but his trainer also said that it was his own doing and not Margaritos....
its funny how fans tend to beleive only the top half, the part in which his trainer admits owns up and explains, but ignores the rest of what his trainer also said....

as a trainer who has trained Margarito to winning world titles do you think he is going to take the heat all on himself if it wasnt just him? **** no, not when you can grab another fighter and make more money....

So why would he take the blame all to himself if Tony really did know?

Me personally I dont deal with people if they try to gain an extra edge in a brutal sport like boxing...Doesnt matter the race of the fighter if you're a ****ing cheating then **** off and **** you...Those people IMO should never get any type of respect.

Well, Capetillo and Margorito should share the blame...As you've stated he guided him to world titles, so its rather hard IMO to not notice Capetillo stuffing something into your wraps...he's been wrapping his hands for years so I know Margorito sensed something different...Unless he's been doing it for a while now!
