This. If he wins he'll fight the loser of Fatton vs. Pac

Of course, John if he keeps on winning will have attractive fights in the featherweight division. But if Marquez keeps on ducking his tormentor, that won't erase the stigma of having tasted defeat in the hands of this undefeated fighter. It is still the element of revenge and the stigma of defeat that will haunt Marquez if he refuses to fight John who said he is available to fight him again. Now, in a neutral country.

I think you're more than a troll to cite this unfounded belief that Pac is ducking JMM. He fought him twice already, FYI. :deal John is now in America fighting the big boys. He is young and has fan base in Indonesia, the Muslim countries and Asia. He is a bankable fighter because he is undefeated and has defeated a #2 P4P fighter Marquez. He's now w/ GBP and I think a fight w/ Marquez is not farfetched. After beating Juarez especially if it is lopsided one, John will fight Marquez inevitably.

Why Chris John is a bankable fighter in the mold of Manny Pacquiao.

With Pacquiao's impact in the Philippines his model, Chris John energizes Indonesia

Pitalua vs. Valero is now for the vacant WBC belt I think, or at least the interim title. Can't see John jumping two divisions for a fight that probably won't make a huge amount of money.

Marquez takes a leaf out of Hagler's book and lets his fists be the judges this time....John seems very durable from what I've seen, but at 135 who knows?

Just a hunch....JMM by stoppage. He's bitter, and knows John can't hurt him. He'll come out as he always does now, more aggressive and not holding back when he senses it's time for the kill.

Just a trivia, Chris John is a gold medalist in wushu in South East Asian Games.
That means he can move his body in harmony and swiftness much like a kung fu master, Bruce Lee. This martial art skill could have helped him tremendously in his fight against Marquez who is an excellent counterpuncher.

I think the type of wushu that Chris John competed in was the combat wushu or sanshou(?) and not the gymnastics/demonstration type of wushu.

Combat wushu looks a lot like straight, stand up MMA. Lots of punching, kicking and takedowns. (no hitting on the ground, though, IIRC)

It's not a Bruce Lee type exhibition.

But it's a good background for someone who's in to the fight business.

John said he's moving up to 130 after Juarez. Marquez can probably still make 130

John is like Marquez in reverse. He wants to prove that his win was no fluke. Marquez wants to prove that his loss was a fluke.
