Actually Marquez can't go back to 118. He moved up to 122 because he pretty much had to. The guy was a weight felon for the longest time.
Marquez could easily move up to featherweight and beat guys like Chris John and Jorge Linares, same thing with Isreal Vazquez. Marquez and Vazquez don't need to fight for a fourth time and I don't think Marquez wants too anyway.
Simply put: before he moved up experts considered Rafael as THE BEST PUNCHER of boxing today. He lost a lot of power moving up and that's an important weapon of his as he breaks down opponents with it. Another thing is the size disadvantage at SBW. Vazquez wasn't a big SBW but was stronger anyway. Now Caballero and De Leon are HUGE SBWs. Even bigger disadvantage. I think Marquez should move back down to face Cristian Mijares who should move up. I've made a thread on that and already recieved some negative comments. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50032
Kinda shows how much moving up in weight is a difference to the fighters in smaller weight classes. Marquez was a very large bantamweight and at superbantam he is much smaller than guys like De Leon and Caballero. I think he could still make 118 too. He was 121 for this fight and looked great, not weight drained at all.
