5 seconds of every round is lost to them stepping forward, touching gloves and stepping back out. Should they stop or should the brotherly love continue?
Got no problem with it. Too much is made of it. They're humans first before they're fighters. After all they're only there to break bread.
So you're complaining you are losing a whole 5 seconds over a bit of mutual respect and sportsmanship...... I lost 30 seconds reading this thread. Im going to spend a minute making a thread about the 30 seconds I lost reading this thread But now Ive spent atleast 2 minutes reading and writing my reply...Oh forget it
I don't mind the first touch while being explained the final rules by the ref. But to do it again when the bell sounds when they square off in the middle after they just touched. Then after someone lands a clean shot, they wanna touch gloves, then after an accidental low blow, and so on.. Sometimes it gets a little excessive. Touch before the first bell, then again after the final bell.
They are touching gloves at the beginning and end of every round. Its a bit much. Touch at the start and end. In between those 2 touches I would like it to be fight time, bar the odd need for touching i.e. accidental low blow.
don't see what the problem is, i think its good. i'm not looking forward to the day when each fighter is staring eachother tight and trash talking.[like boxing.]
Dosn'yt worry me. there are definitely fight with cold blood aswell. I also like to see good sportsman ****.
They should get DQd if there are not punches thrown within 2 second. Also, flipping your opponent off after an awesome submission should be a rule, fighter comradeship or not.
