I agree with you; if there was another 20 seconds on the clock it would definately have been over. Shane was saved by the bell. What a fight!

Shane cant handle boxers like floyd. Shane is a rhythm fighter always has been.

Anyone who thought that is a moron.

I had a Floyd UD all the way.

Shanes chin is solid and he also recovers from big shots pretty quickly.

I am a BIG Shane fan and why wouldn't I be, he's my fav fighter but despite that I loved this fight even before I became a Forrest fan too lol. It's a shame that it toke him soooo long to get a titleshot with a star at WW but when he did, he won big(the first fight of course). Well, he did have the mental edge because he did beat Shane in AMA's but it didn't guarantee him a victory in pro's though he showed he still had his number. This fight really showed Shane had heart & chin the way he hung in there.

Shane can't handle elite level boxers period. He can beat B-class boxers like Collazo but A class boxers give him fits galore and are his kryptonite.

Forrest was on fire that night. Watching that makes me sad.

Even though Shane was beat up in this unwatchable fight for me - I don't believe it should have been stopped. I understand the arguement - but both were undefeated at the time - so if the fight was to be stopped - it's needed to be a KO and nothing less. You would feel so type of way if your 0 was taken away by the Ref.

Fights have been stopped for far less. Mosley, being No1. P4P at the time, got every chance to make it and he did. If it was any other fighter the fight would have been stopped.

Boxer-types I meant. Oscar was more of a slugger and that side of him made the first fight so great. His boxer-type style approach in the rematch is underrated he did well and got robbed. Complete boxer-types are Shane's weakness.

Yes it should have been stopped. Then Shane would have taken less punishment in this fight, and come back stronger in the rematch.

i think alot of refs would have at the second KD

his legs couldnt hold up he fell once or twice between kd's so the 2nd kd coulda been called

it is kind of ironic when moseley hurt floyd floyd grabbed on and never let go

    shane did the same here

wanna see the 3rd round to see his recovery
