What? Is Josh Clottey known for being heavy handed? NO! Clottey barely threw and Pac was staggered in that fight. Watch again. Pac has ZERO defense.

Idiot! FMJ isn't trying to "bring down" anyone. He is trying to WIN! If the opportunity presents itself? Great. If not? He is killing you on the scorecards. Do you even understand the point of boxing versus brawling?

Like Pac "ripped up" Clottey? Clottey threw a quarter of the punches and landed just 50% less. He did this while sick and Pac STILL looked worse for wear. Mayweather is faster and more accurate! Do the math fool.

Tell your boy Manny to take the tests and proceed to break your heart.

Mayweather has that KO % from the lower weights, not welterweight.

Hatton's punch resistance gone after Floyd? Give me a break man. Hatton had been in way worse wars before, and he never had a super great chin. Plus he was fighting out of his natural weight class.

He swoll Judah, Baldomir and Marquez up from accumulation. He never rocked Baldomir once, and he couldn't finish Marquez after he was hurt.

So what are you saying, Mayweathe'sr a better puncher than Cotto? Cotto landed quite a few flush shots in the first 4 rounds, none of which could even phase Manny.

Anyway we'll get all the answers if this fight ever happens. That's assuming Floyd gets passed Mosley, and I'm beginning to have doubts about that.

Floyd couldn't hurt a blown up lightweight (plus 12 pounds of added fat) JMM with 290 punches. I doubt he can hurt Pac, who's taken Cotto's and Clottey's best punches and kept moving forward.

The point isn't the punches. It is the level of frustration in addition too the punches.

Manny is going to be taken out of sorts by FMJ just like he was against EM and JMM. Probably even worse. He is going to be getting embarrassed in there. The more chasing he does. He more punches he will run into and be hurt that much more.

He was chasing Clottey's non moving butt after getting caught. Mayweather will eat that crap up and turn on landed punch into 3-4 more.

I don't understand this Floyd can't hurt pacquiao bull****. Cotto's jab was able to snap pac's head back. Does anyone really think Mayweather's left hooks and straight rights don't have as much power, let alone moar? Even the too slow to generate pop Clottey was able to snap his head back. Besides, you pacquiao fans are always going on about how he's "really" a lightweight or LWW, so he has to deal with the natural strength disadvantages of being the "much smaller man".

He has an iron will and lots of heart, but when his head snaps back too frequently he will get hurt.

    :patsch, let him be guys.

No. He should not follow Floyd around. He should use his speed and movement to move around Floyd, circling him, then firing in and slipping back out of range. Following Floyd around the ring is a bad move, Floyd is too quick and clever. He basically toyed with Hatton.

Hattoned weighed the same as he did against Malignaggi as he did with Floyd. There was no "moving up" in class for Hatton. He was already basically a natural welter fighting at welter. Not that it matters considering Floyd started his career at super feather. Hatton outweighed Floyd on the night. If you think that the jump in weight had anythign to do with HAttons performance you dont know much about boxing.

Hatton going into the Floyd fight was viewed as having a near granite chin. Very few peoply predicted Floyd to knock him out. Since then his chin has never been the same.

Nobody not Tszyu not Collazo landed the amount of hard right hands on Hattons dome as Floyd did period.

If Floyd was a powder puff puncher how would he damage all 3 fighters through accumulation. If he was a powder puff puncher they would have merely walked through his punches and got at Floyd. Instead he had both Judah and Marquez backing off into the ropes. Btw, even Vernon Forrest couldnt rock Baldomir.
He's a crisper more accurate puncher. If they were both throwing at a heavy bag and you were measuring their force, Cotto is the better puncher. But in terms of timing, catching your opponent off balance, Floyd is the better puncher.

Manny acted like he wasnt phased btw. Same thing he did against Marquez and Morales, he's pretty good at it. But considering Cotto shattered Manny's eardrum landing only a few punches and Clottey damaged Pacquiao landed maybe 5 or 6 punches the whole fight, I'd say that Floyd could easily do damage given he'll land more punches then both Cotto and Clottey and punches from angles Manny wont see.

Tell me have you ever seen Floyd lookin like manny does at the end of his fights in any of his fights?

12 pounds of added fat? Marquez weighed 142 against Diaz, he weighed 148 against Mayweather. Thats 6 pounds.

Did you read what Bernstein said about Marquez after the fight and why Marquez has yet to schedule another bout? Because Marquez is still recovering from the beating he took.

Only someone who doesn't know boxing would think Hatton had any success vs Mayweather .... PBF was in control of the fight the entire time, and didn't lose a round at all on my scorecards. Last time I checked, bullrushing in, grappling and punches that glance off shoulders and elbows do not score you points... clean effective punching does.

And there is nothing that Pacquiao would do that would remotely resemble anything Hatton did... the only similarity would be the pressure.

I had a similar scorecard to you with Hatton winning only one round. The judges had Hatton winning 2-3 rounds. Why did Lederman score things so closely?:huh

You guys should have stopped repling to this Gander fellow when he said that Mayweather vs Manny would look like Manny vs clottey. After that I just skipped over his posts.
