Love it when forum warriors call boxers that have competed at the highest levels bums. LoL Rosado is far from a bum, but he is not a challenger anymore and is the definition of a gatekeeper. There is nothing wrong with it, esp. if he loves the sport and can continued getting paid a good amount for it. He doesn't seem to get shaken up, but only cut.
I don't see any reason he should retire but some time off to let his face heal and then maybe an easy fight or two wouldn't be a bad idea. He's become a go to guy for good fighters who want tough but winnable fights and he could probably make a decent living for several more years by doing that.
:nono Bro he is far from a FN bum:-( Look at his last three fights ....no bum would make it to this level:smoke
rosado is really good. rosado shoulda been throwing more power shots like he did in the championship rds. rosado needs to take sum time off do sumthing about the cut that re opened the past 2 fights. n then lesser competition for once n build a nice resume up.
Yes. He has absolutely made the most of his talent and made about as much money as he's going to make. He's been in 4 tough fights in a row and I don't see him winning any big fights with that particular style.
That's the problem. He's not comfortable opening up like that. He prefers to work behind the jab and use his feet to create angles. When you've been fighting like that your whole life it's really difficult to change, while still maintaining your effectiveness.
Rosado's like a modern day Chuck Wepner. Their creed? Fight anyone. Win if he can, lose if you must, but at all costs, bleed.
I think he would benefit from a different trainer and group, but I really doubt he leaves Billy Briscoe. I like Rosado a lot and admire his "fight everyone" attitude, but he definitely needs some time off. Then, when he comes back, he needs to fight someone not undefeated. His last 4 opponents are like 90-0 in all their fights (something like that). lol Hopefully, he's made enough money to buy a house and take care of his family for a few years.
He should take off for a year or two. But stay in training. Be learning, techniques strategy etc. He can improve. Then unleash him onto mid level opposition get some W's and take another shot at top competition 2 years after that. I know that would make him 32, but as long as he stays in training I think he can be healthier and a better fighter than he is now...
He should fight at a lower level atleast for a while, just because he can take a beating doesn't mean he should keep being thrown in to receive one, he's earned a few easier fights
A guy who goes to boxing forums so he can type about boxing on the internet, calling rosado, a boxer that fights the best fighters in the world on hbo, a bum claaaassic! Youre pathetic
