No. He is still able to beat most top guys at 147. People are just trying to discredit Mayweather's victory, yet again.

Shane has a few good fights left. He's 38 and on the Bernard Hopkins plan (like he said). He looked shot because of what Floyd did to him.

Agreed, he can make money against Cotto, and I think he can clearly beat him this time around, he can rematch Margarito, or fight Berto.

Disagree. He was completely weight drained Saturday and he needs to move up in weight. If you work out you will know ur weight goes up in down depending on the time of year and we do not know if he is a gym rat like Floyd. And with me being 34 and very active in the gym I have seen mine also and I know most of u have. There is no way, no way in hell Shane is walking around at 147 some 8 yrs later. Unless he is a gym ray like Floyd he is waling around the 160+ area and we do not know if he got the eight off in time for the fight. He needs to move up to 54 and if so maybe even 60 but he will get beat by everyone, even Berto and Cotto right now at 38 if he keeps on trying to make weight at 47. This is pure fact. Let me know in 8 yrs are you still weighing the same u was then or now. In 8 yrs I was 160 lbs and now I am in the 185-190 range and in great shape. So he was physically not able to compete, Berto would have done the same thing to him in Jan. Will he retire, I doubt it. He will fight a few more fights. His wife took him to the woodshed in the divorce he had and took half his money. I am not saying he needs the money, but I'm sure he wants to gain most of it back. Child Support, Alimony when ur a millionaire is prob no ****ing joke so he will fight a few fights to try to balance it all out. I have said this Sunday and people are stilltrying to figure out why he got tired after the second round. If people knew boxing, then they would know why.

No I still want him to fight Berto. They have unfinished business.

He won't beat Berto. With his weight problems he will have trouble with Berto speed. Might not be a beatdown like Floyd gave him, but he will get beat convincingly again IMO.

I'd like to see Shane fight someone else forst. He just fought the best fighter in the world, no shame in losing. Let's see what he's got against Berto, if he looks bad, walk away.

I've never agreed with the 'go out with a win' argument. He's made cash, beaten some good/great opponents, and according to those who saw the fight looked extremely shop worn... so I think he should call it quits and ride off into the sunset with whatever millions he has left. No need to go on when you don't have it anymore.

He looked FANTASTIC against Margarito, and looked horrible against Mayweather. I think he needs a tune up against a solid b level guy to see if he still has it, I think he does have a couple more fights.

Its time to hang em up, he will be 39 in a few months and he just got outclassed in the speed department for the first time in his career, and its only going to get worse as time flies by, he can't beat PBF, Pac, or even Cotto now. Maybe he can take Berto, Clottey, and definitely the IBF champ but whats the point? He has already stuck around atleast 3 years too long.

Margarito is the only guy he would beat for sure, maybe Berto but he won't beat Cotto now.
