"...the day Tiger Woods won the Masters in 1997, Fuzzy Zoeller took a lot of heat and lost sponsors for calling a then-21-year-old Woods "little boy" and urging him not to serve fried chicken and collard greens the following year. Zoeller's words are akin to Mayweather's about Pacquiao..."

Also, will Pacs defamation lawsuit go through for sure now?

**** no. This whole thing is ridiculous. People are acting as if PBF killed someone or something.

All he said was ll young chump.

Apart from saying cooking up dogs etc those are only youyr own racial implemations and stereotypes as it is not their culture that people usually think do this.

plus pac did actually eat his own dog

the guy again used stereotypes.....is it derogatory of course racist nah.

even little boy its a man hood thing....derogatory of course...racist no

    IGNORANCE YES

    RACIST NO

Now if he says i hate black people especially the little boy who won Masters, i hope he dont go selling chicken and collard greens.....ding ding ding...we have a racist.

we are so damn sensitive today we would never had made it back in the days when racism was REAL.

Today even though it is still around but not in the forfront...most of our racial complaints are about somebody saying somebody eats chicken or have nappy hair....people go apeshyt.

    Racist definition

: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
    2
    : racial prejudice or discrimination

nowhere does he say that Pac or Asians are inferior to anyone he only had ignorant beliefs about one particular Asian.

A lot of other notable public figures have been fired or dropped by sponsors for less.

    Floyd is not a racist.

He poked fun at a racial stereo type.

He apologized, it's time for the Floyd hater's to move on.

what's your point? maybe his sponsor will drop him. he isn't exactly making a living on a "good guy" image now is he?

like i said 1000 times before

he shouldn't have said what he said...and if you don't like it, don't buy his next fight

He's black. He can say whatever he wants without any consequences. That said, no, what he said wasn't really that terrible. Would still be interested to see the reaction if Ricky Hatton, for example, had called Pacquiao a yellow chimp.

Boxers don't exactly have the cleanest images, so it matters less for them. Floyd is the King of a sport filled with grimey participants.

No one cares that Louis beat up some women.
No one cares that Robinson caused his wife's miscarriages.
No one cares that Ali cheated on his wife.
No one cares that emmanuel cheated on his wife.
No one cares that Tyson cheated on his wife.

This isn't no Tiger Woods who lost sponsors for cheating on his *****. This isn't golf.

It was such a big deal in the sixties/seventies that people look for anything and try to make it a big deal.

I still feel something should happen.

Could you imagine Shaq going on Ustream and talking about Yao Ming that way? Shaq would loose sponorships like crazy!

Course not...but Shaq and Floyd are on whole other planet in regards to recognition....besides...who the hell sponsors Floyd anyway?

Plus Shaq is no where near that type of person from what i can only see on t.v.
