You're right. Cotto called out Mayweather numerous times, Top Rank, offered Floyd a ton of money and Floyd never stepped up to the plate. We all know Mayweather wants no parts of Mosely. Mosley simply asked for $10 mill to fight Mayweather back when he was at 135 and cherry picking Floyd didn't step up. Then Floyd tried to call out Mosley after the Bruseles fight knowing damn well Mosley wasn't watching(who was watching that fight?). Then, Floyd tried to fight Mosley again in 2006 knowing damn well that Mosley was going on vacation to take care of his tooth. Floyd has his chance again in 2007 and decided to take more money to fight Hatton and duped 850K people into buying that fight in the states. Let's fast foward to 2009, Floyd has been out of the ring a mere 18 months and he decides to fight Marquez instead of going straight after Mosley. Ask yourself this, Mayweather calls himself p4p but would Pac fight a guy coming up 2 weight classes? What about Hopkins? And what's with all the retirements? Would SRL retire multiple times by his early 30's? Hell no.

legitimately called themselves 1??? pacman is p4p king because floyd retired, actually at the time he retired pacman was ranked 3rd. yes he beat the same 2 guys floyd beat a year so ago, difference is they said he cherry picked them and pacman is a god for beating the same 2 dudes later in their careers lol.

Loving it. Floyd is 'guilty' of all the same bull**** that every fighter pulls. Look at this post kids - stop hating.

People forget that JMM gave Pac a tough fight at 130, JMM is fighting PBF at 145. Just because Pac carried the weight doesnt mean JMM will.

Its like saying Castillo should fight Margo or Cotto because Castillo gave PBF a tough time (on a scenario where Castillo was still a prime 135). It just doesnt work that way.

Personally I think Pac KO's JMM at 140, he has looked a lot more impressive than JMM coming up in weight. JMM may have peaked at 135.

I will give Floyd credit for beating JMM just because he is p4p #2, it wont be enough to knock Pac off the top spot though. Those 2 needs to get it on.

This fight is for the right to be called the best fighter in the world. On my top 10 list, Marquez is 4th behind PAc, Hop, and Floyd. Hop has been inactive for almost 9 months so i might move him to #4 soon. On other people's pfp list marquez is second. The winner of this fight can claim to be pfp the ebst fighter in the world, and on my list, they can be ranked the best fighter in the world...bar none!

no way floyd would be #1 if he beats marquez although marquez had a case to be a co-#1 if he squeezed even a SD win over floyd. floyd had just so much size advantage (weight, height and reach) over jmm that a win could not make him reclaim it. couple it with the unexpected domination by pac over hatton in just 2 rounds.
