Will Haney ask Loma after the fight: "Do I punch hard enough" like he did after Linares fight? ahahahah
A very surprising action from someone who hands out food to the homeless and is a devout muslim. Especially after seeing him on the promo, “Blood Sweat and Tears.” Part one.
I genuinely suspected that might be the case given how much bigger Haney is than him and how violent the shove was. That wasn't no regular shove Haney pushed him as hard as he was physically capable of doing and yes Loma very easily could've suffered a serious injury to his neck or back. The commission are concerned he might have suffered an injury and I've never seen that before. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has filed a complaint after Devin Haney shoved Vasiliy Lomachenko at their ceremonial weigh-in on Friday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger. Haney is expected to be fined for the shove, which took place ahead of their bout on Saturday in Las Vegas. The NSAC also requested that Lomachenko undergo a second physical exam before the fight out of an abundance of caution. Haney and Lomachenko got into it on Friday at their weigh-in, and Haney suddenly shoved Lomachenko hard in the chest with two hands. The push sent Lomachenko flying back before Haney quickly made his way off the stage.
Haney was never going to be a fans favorite with that style so went on the Floyd route and put up enough irritation for this fight to spark a lot of extra interest. Hilariously, its hardcore fans getting so emotional that they are changing their pick and casuals & oddsmakers remain objective. After 100yrs in this sport we know damn right that skills & physical abilities over 12 + current form decide fights, not the lead-up, so no matter how well Haney lured hesitant Lomtards into buying the PPV it's up their abilities tonite.
If you're relaxed and not expecting to be two-handedly pushed, let alone that violently by a much bigger person, it can cause whiplash and or even more serious injuries. Klose is a tough dude and a gritty fighter and he wouldn't pull out for no reason. His injuries were very real. Whiplash can be caused by a collision from any direction, not just behind. It can also be caused in other ways, including abuse, horse riding, and contact sports. Sometimes, the full effect of whiplash is not felt for 24 hours or more after the incident. Symptoms can include lower back pain, dizziness, and muscle spasms. Even a slow speed collision can cause whiplash. neck pain neck stiffness the back of the neck feels tender These whiplash signs and symptoms are also possible: lower back pain pain in the arms and hands numbness or pins and needles in the arms and hands muscle spasms dizziness fatigue swallowing difficulties vision problems (vision may be blurred) a feeling that you are moving or spinning (vertigo) ringing in the ears (tinnitus) sleep disturbances
If it happens to be another fighter watching the weigh in from the sidelines I have no issues with one of the weighing in fighters giving them a good hard shove. But not if it's the actual opponent you're about to face. That's just aggressive and antisocial.
I don’t condone it but I saw in an interview afterwards Loma was saying now he knows Haney has no powers. I also think Haney did it to get into Loma’s head same as with the claims this week of Loma being a dirty fighter. Not sure if all of this will have a bearing on the fight but it clear both are ready.
Fear you push someone when you want them far away from your space.Kid is definitely feeling the reality of facing the matrix and get exposed.Pushing is no G move. This is.. This content is protected
Did you miss the part where they literally made the same weight seconds before - or elementary physics class for that matter? (pun intended) They were literally the same sized object according to the scale and given how heated EVERY final staredown is, anyone NOT prepping for potential altercation is a fool. Haney was classless, should be fined.
