Don't come out here calling him overrated, overhyped, and all the names under the sun. He lost, I'm shocked, but Mijares shown heart from carrying on from the initial uppercut that badly hurt Mijares. I hope he comes back stronger. Goodluck Mijares.

I have no idea what I just saw. It blew my mind. Mijares showed heart, and good for him. All respect to Darchinyan, that was the last thing I expected.

No, thats it. Mijares is **** now, all his past performances erased.

It can't be possible that Darchinyan performed much better than expected, and Mijares badly.

he deserved the loss, he looked so cocky from the start as if it was going to be an easy win, lesson learned

I got to say - Mijres looked horrible! Of course I respect him because he showed a load of heart, but he also forgot his jab, fought the wrong fight, punched at the gloves, failed to move his head, failed to pull the trigger with openings available, fell for every little feint Vic - who turned in a great performance - put out there...i'm all for respecting fighters, but this one looked terrible.

He's going to catch some ****, especially given the way he's been overhyped.

    Good.

The true and only boxing fans that matter are finally responding. Boxing fans aren't people that disrespect a great fighter who just gets stopped. They're idiots.

You are always going to get this reaction when a fighter who has been overhyped by the fans gets dominated like that. At the least it shows that Vic deserves people's respect, as he didn't get much of it leading up to the fight. And Mijares was the arrogant turd, Vic let got down to business.

I completely agree. Who could have predicted that Mijares would end up getting stopped late, after arguably not even winning a single round? What happened in that ring tonight was shocking.
