Obviously. You misunderstood me. The second statement was independent from the first.

I dont know what is Espinoza’s fascination with him….
I guess there is a demographic to whom he addresses.

I remember 10 years ago when he beat DeMarco and looked good doing it.

With hindsight it never ever got close to that level again.

    yup,
That was his pinnacle, his zenith, his absolute apogee.

after that it was super stardom & big money.
    Just couldn’t handle it.

Nobody, and I mean nobody predicted he would make a comeback after his last "retirement".

They'd probably make more releasing whatever kind of sick footage Broner is holding over Espinoza's head.

    Broner doesn't deserve another payday.

He probably barely remembers how to throw punches at this stage, his output rate is terrible.

Should fight Ohara Davies. Too real lovely chaps who won't resort to any of this WCW nonsense

That bout was always deceiving as to Broner's level, because Tony, while a solid fighter, was tailor-made for him. There was always a point in fights where DeMarco would stop moving and start looking to impose himself — from as early as the 4th, he was standing inside with Broner and allowing him to fire his best shots. When Tony threw, Broner just sat comfy in his shell and reloaded. DeMarco wasn't even punching with him, just taking turns, you go, I go. Made for an easy night for Broner, being the stronger lightweight with the sharper array of punches. Even some of his detractors ended up grudgingly buying the hype and conceding that he was an elite guy after that fight, but he never was in that tier.

And whilst that's true, he had just knocked out the number 1 LW in the world. And when all is said and done, there aren't many boxers who can claim to have done the same.
