For once I almost agree with you.
Algeri is a likeable guy with a considered boring style, and people were disappointed in the way he fought against Pac. Khan who can throw some good combos at times but he basically just wrestles your head under his amrpits or grabs you to stop YOU from punching back rather than parry or slip just made for an unwatchable fight to SHO execs.

Lol.....them refusing only highlights their incompetence and their struggles financially based on other decisions they've made over the last few years. You're silly kid.....you calling me and idiot is like Corky calling Einstein stupid. Now go sleep it off son.

I like it algieri has the reach and movement to outbox khan. But i still perfer khan to face brook or thurman. To me algieri has to move upbthe rankings again especially with that ****ty performance against pac

Good for Showtime, for standing up for themselves, and the fans. They already bought one ****ty fight with Brook vs Dan. They don't need another one of those type of fights.

Lets see what Haymon does with it. Algieri as an opponent isn't the type of fight you want to put on your primetime free tv slot, as it has stinker written all over it.

Makes you wonder why people are so hypocritical. Haymon allegedly said that nobody wanted to see Rigondeaux vs Santa Cruz, because it wouldn't be exciting. Yet Khan vs Algieri is made?

I think this fight on paper is more competitive than Khan vs Broner

But Khan vs Broner would have been a bigger hit with the fans so they should have made that fight

I think both fights are not good and they should have made either the Brook fight or the Bradley fight

Either way, I bet this will end up on PBC or something

Its a **** fight becuase you dont have Manny in it , and this is coming from a Pac fan who admits the that Pac v Algeri shouldnt have happened , who wants to see those 2 circle eachother all night ? like really ? Manny bring fire to the ring and can make even a runner like Algeri hit the canvas 6 times , i doubt Khan will run after him the same way Pac did , and thats why its a **** fight because the viewers will sleep half way through the fight while khan just do the minimum to win an easy UD.

Haymon needs to stop the showcase fights and put forth truly competitive matches. All his fights on showtime are garbage. Look at today on cbs, I would be shocked if beterbiev or Stevenson lost. Networks getting wise. At least hbo puts on bouts with some drama before the first bell
