The problem is that he usually loses those, unfortunately. There are at least 2 recent losses on his record that could easily be wins.

Nice card, would really like to see HBO go this route once in a while.

Tarver UD Lateef- Tarver, despite his age, is still a good boxer and beats Lateef unless he lands something big but Tarver's chin is solid.

Quillen UD Wright- Not overly excited about this fight but not bad, I think Winky is simply too old and inactive to beat Quillen.

Trout UD Rodriguez- I think Trout is a solid favorite here and beats Rodriguez somewhat comfortably. Rodriguez may have his moments but Trout is better and wins this one.

I'm unsure at the moment who to pick in the Santa Cruz match up.

Agree but Delvin is the type of fighter that is hard to look good against and I would not be supirsed if he pulls it off

Yes followed by Winky vs Kudos Chocolate for me being a big fan of both and also think that Wright may not be as done as people think and might give the inexperienced but younger, faster, harder hitter. Also Quillen is not a goin in fighter and Winky could pull a Jermain Taylor performance thing could be interesting....... or maybe not  who knows.

Well Trout was in the works to fight Dzindzirk on HBO so he's looking to make a name for himself against whoever. Plus Delvin has chin issues and Trout is the best and most skilled fighter Delvin has foght in his career. Trout might try and gi after that chin if D Rod...... but Rodrigez is a great offensive fighter and if Trout goes after him or slugs it out to much then...... FOTY possibility.

I fail to understand how this is such a great card. I'm interested in the Trout-Rodriguez fight, but Tarver? I'm also afraid Quillin-Wright will be a stinker.

Trout-Rodriguez - Evenly matched fight between two contenders ( 60-40 in favor of Trout ), I have both in my top 10 IMO.

Tarver-Kayode - May be sluggish but Kayode can bang and so can Tarver, Again two top guys face off. A lot of trash has been talked by Tarver :!: about Kayode. Might be slow the first few rounds but as the fight goes on they just might trade bombs!

Wright-Quillin - Another good test for Quillin, Who looks like he can be a future star! We will also see what Wright has left. It might be a shitty one sided beatdown by Quillin though in honesty. :conf

Malinga-Santa Cruz - Malinga was another one of my boy Hasgawa's beatiful KO's. But has still bet some top guys himself other then that, Inactivity is a worry with him though if anything. Cruz is one of GBP's best prospects, yet to be tested at world class ( and now he is! ), Excellent match making.

    :thumbsup

I like Delvin, but I maintain against a true, quality jmw, he will come up far short. In reality, he is just a ww, at best, and would come up far short, every time against the best of them(ww).

Easy decision, or tko, for Trout, no doubt.

Tarver by decision. Quillen by tko.

Are all 4 on regular Showtime or are they doing the Extreme/Regular split like they have been?

Trout and Delvin aren't equally matches, stop it people, Delvin Rodriguez is ESPN level and Trout is a clear level above.

Kayode vs Tarver, Trout vs Rodriguez on Showtime.
    The other two on ShoExtreme.
