Your grammar wouldn't remotely touch mine if I expended the effort on a meaningless boxing forum. While we are here, tell your brethren to stay the **** off my beaches this summer with your banana hammocks.
Ward-Dawson is one of the best fights that could be made in the sport. Anyone who's against a fight like that calling it boring should find a new sport.:deal
Bad news for me, I think this fight would be technically exciting for those that understand/appreciate skill in this sport.
Ward vs Bute is yet another technical match, neither of them are aggressors. You're just a ******, look at your damn avatar for crying out loud.
"If it doesn't make $$ what's the point?" oh please, if that was the case all the time boring fighters would NEVER get a shot to be on TV or PPV, yet they get their chances **look at Tim Bradley, that fight vs Pacquiao isn't the most marketable option for a fight with the Pac Man, yet it's still happening and what about Joshua Clottey? I dunno if a loss would get rid of either, but it's a nice concept in theory Tim Bradley isn't a draw, doesn't have a style that draws in casual fans and I wouldn't consider him very TV friendly yet he's headlining a PPV vs one of the biggest names in the sport next month boxing is a business, but not every fight is going to be a big time money maker and that's something I'm sure the promoters are aware of a fight already mentioned on this thread Bradley-Alexander happened on Regular HBO and that was more about the best fighting then trying to be a big fight that broke records regarding This content is protected the time might not be right for them to fight right NOW, but maybe a couple more big wins by each and the fight could be a bigger deal **also I noticed Ward did guest commentary for a couple rounds during the Mayweather-Cotto PPV .. so maybe HBO is trying to get Ward blue: not every fight can be action packed and exciting, accept it. Yet as boring as Bradley has been virtually his whole career he's still headlining a PPV next month
They are rejecting it because they don't want to pony up that kind of money for a one fight rental of Dawson, who would almost certainly go back to HBO win or lose and because Ward would likely do the same. Maybe Wards' side is getting demanding with money? Maybe they can't fulfill the standards Dawson is used to? Likely all of the above plus some more reasons contributed...
I agree and they really use to be ahead of their game with fights ..Must have been the leaving of Hershman thats causing this ..
