Diaz was in a new weight class in a competitive fight with a cross dresser with pillows for fists and a ton of talent after being outright demolished by JMM at 135...
when demarco came out swinging from the bell in round 7 or something he looked very good. he connected very well and took valero out of his comfort zone. the problem is he only did it for 30/40 seconds and that was it. bet he wishes he had done that a little earlier to help quash valero's confidence. well, demarco will learn alot about himself from this fight and make him a better fighter in the future.
Let's not exaggerate, he KOed Diaz in the end. Diaz also lost some of his confidence in this fight as he was manhandled. I'm still giving JMM a benefit of a doubt. He ain't getting any younger though and drinking urine can't help that.
STFU Noob! Drinking urine makes him immortal! But seriously, Diaz gets underrated a bit I think. He's a handful for most at 135 if he gets into his rhythm at all. He's not exactly a technician and doesn't have a feared punch but he's one of those guys that knows how to overwhelm 95% of fighters out there at that weight class. I think he's about done now. I think he's got less left in him than Marquez actually.
Valero had a good night, but I was expecting another ko which probably would have happen in 11th or 12th round. Valero mention that this was his best fight...which was the only fight in his boxing profession that he never produce a kd or ko. I've seen Valero fight better before.
thanks guys for the rbr. i have some sense of what happened by reading this thread alone. can't wait to watch a reply.
