I prefer Showtime, since they don't sign fighters to multi-fight deals...it keeps them calling the action in a more unbiased fashion. Lampley is pathetic the way he colors the action, you can always tell who is the HBO fighter.

I'll watch both fights...DVR is a beautiful thing.

    probably mosley vs mayorga

Though HBO does do more replays the next day than showtime usually so I will sometimes watch the showtime one live and then catch the HBO one later.

If I dont have showtime in my apt this fall (i prob wont) then its HBO and maybe download the tarver fight if it turns out to be good but usually he is boring

I think it all depends on the kind of fan you are. Ive noticed that usually most(not all!!!) of the boxing fans that don't like Showtime atl all are usually "regular/average" boxing fans that can only identify "big name" boxers(pacquiao, mayweather, de la hoya) and don't like Showtime because they "don't know who's fighting". For example, to a REAL boxing fan, Israel Vasquez is as recognizable as Shane Mosley.

I will watch the replay of Vitali Klitschko smashing Sam Peter then I will turn over to HBO and watch their train wreck of a fight.

Tarver-Dawson is the better fight and is relevant to the 175 pound divison. Mosley-Mayorga is and afterthought.

YAUP! I agree about the whole Tarver-Dawson fight bein relevant to the light heavyweight division...But I ain't goin to lie, Mosley-Mayorga seems to be the most entertainin, especially because of Mayorga's antics
