Campillo on points is my guess...he's taken over for me. He's coming through anything Shuemnov has, which is why I said it wasn't going to get better for Shumenov. Once his speed has gone, Campillo has better fundamentals and punches straighter.
The signs were there from the first round...Shumenov was throwing like a crazy man ! It was an insane tactic...wasted his energy. He surely learnt from the first fight the guy was tough, so the tactic was completely and utterly wrong.
78-74 Campillo....hes opening a wide lead on my scorecard. Shumenov certainly doesnt have the bite on his punches as he did in the first few rounds. Agree with was the commentator said about seeing how Campillo is so hard to hit...doesnt seem he should be. Shumenov needs a 2nd wind
End of 8 Now its looking more a question of whether Shumenov makes the distance rather than who wins. He's way too tired and Campillo is as strong as an ox...underrated fighter. Could be a real player in the division more than I thought.
Amazing performance from Campillo so far....where the hell did he come from on the world LHW scene.....no chance for Shumenov now....so lovely combos in that round
Campillo hammered him in rd 9...damn. I'd say he's favorite to get a stoppage at the moment... Shumenov's face is a mask of blood
There was a mini revival there for Shumenov but nowhere near what was required to get back into this fight... Wonder who will be next for Campillo.....should get another US date off the back of this performance....I certainly want to see him again
