:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Ferguson. DQ'd for holding. Tillis, Green, Smith, Thomas, Tubbs and Biggs, didn't come to fight at all. They came to try to survive. Berbick was a joke, as was Bruno, and Holmes was an old man who had been out of the ring for 21 months. Tucker I will give you as an example of someone who " looked " as if he might want to win. Ribalta, Spinks and Thomas came to inspect the canvas, and a good job they made of it too.
I remember watching these fights .tyson had stoped his bob and weave method and just stood and fought throwing big bombs .ruddock hit him hard a lot and I remember the difference from when he fought Bruno a few years earlier.it was a great fight but I was struck that tyson had become a mere mortal .
What a crock of sh it. Between losing to Bowe in November 95, and facing Lewis in March 99, Holyfield had 5 fights and won them all. How does that make him shot at that time? Also prior to that defeat Holyfield had lost only twice in 38 fights, both on points. Perfect example by you of someone who lives on planet Tyson. How is a call for a rematch with someone whose face was turned into pizza " justified "? Or are you one of those Tyson freaks that thinks Vitali inflicted those cuts on himself?
After like what 200 punches to the face? Douglas was a hard puncher, you could hear the sound of his punches in the crowd. The whole world knows what it took to put chinny girl on the canvas.
He actually said he had two months to prepare for the fight. That doesn't mean he actually started preparing immediately.
Every sane person knows that the holyfield who showed up against Lewis was not the one who showed up against bowe. Tyson didn't owe ruddock a rematch but he still gave it to him like a fearless warrior unlike chinny girl.
The only thing Holmes can't handle is the massive ass whooping Tyson put on him when he was far from completly shot. Hopefully you find a way to handle it.
Holmes would've been happy with being merely completely shot. He was 38 years old. 17 years older than Tyson. Wasn't Tyson also knocked out at the age of 23 by Buster Douglas? :yep
It is quite predictable for you to use holmes lack of preparation as an excuse for the Tyson loss but won't accept the same for Tyson against douglas. Atleast Tyson survived for 10 rounds after eating punch after punch, jab after jab, upper cut after upper cut to the face in each and every round.
