    There isnt even a question

Chuck won clearly. He was working Wandy over quite a few times. I cant believe he didnt finish him.

Anyone saying Silva won must have just eaten a Cro Cop left high kick to the skull. Liddell turned Silva's big head into mush. And yes, I still don't like Liddell.

Silva proved he's a tough guy, and he was competitive in this fight, but it was a no brainer. Chuck won, plain and simple.
But Silva has nothing to be ashamed of. He looked good and surprised me with the punishment he could take.

Keep checking that site. Sometime today, they will probably have the entire show on there. You can watch all of the other show's while you are waiting.

Liddell won clearly. Silva fought like a warrior, though. I think the biggest difference in the fight was Liddell's jab. Late in the third round especially, Silva would try to come in and *BIP* Liddell kept him off with the jab. Probably landed a dozen real clean jabs in the third round alone.

Like many already said, Liddell won two rounds too one, and pretty clearly.

I'm surprised that some actually think Silva should have won it, but I agree that Chuck was running away for the last two minutes of round 3, and I'm still wondering what really cut Wandy, because to me it looked like a headbutt.

I knew Chuck was going to win it, I just thought he was going to knock Wandy out, and I like Wandy and I don't really like Chuck, but Wandy is done and has been for a while, and had been going downhill for a long time before those two losses, and he has had a lot more wars than Chuck.

All in all though, pretty good fight, but it meant nothing at this point of time.

I was rooting for Wand all the way.. I thought Wand took the second but was schooled the first and third.

Chuck used more kicks (a couple kicks) and utilized two takedowns. Thing is, Chuck still looks very vulnerable to someone who will go ahead and use kicks themselves. Wanderlei used them about a quarter as often as he should have and had a high land ratio.. If Wand threw more kicks and was more aggressive, he might have had a shot at a thai clinch.. He didn't even attempt it even though he had two or three opportunities..

Liddel pretty much schooled him, Wand showed sick recovery ability.. Was up against the cage and looked like he was finished, reminiscant of a Tito Ortiz knockout, but he kept comming back with his own shots and made Liddel back up lol. Was exciting to watch.

Chuck won and rightly so - except that he stopped trying to knock Silva out and was clearly riding the clock in the third round. Liddell won - hands down - there is no need for a rematch. Silva's reach is too short to exchange with Liddell and Silva seemed unwilling to initiate a thai clinch to utilize his powerful knees.

That wasn't the Wanderlei Silva I watched in Pride!

Why was he constantly backing away? Where was the intensity and furious anger that he used to fight with? Liddell slipped once and got dropped once, yet Wand didn't pounce, on one knockdown he actually stood still and allowed Chuck to stand up.

Why Didn't he swarm all over Chuck like he did to all other fighters? Even Crocop!

He was tentative and scared, he had no passion.

    Two reasons...

    1. He tasted Chucks power early, and was clearly hurt. I think that made him a timid.

    2. It is obvious that the guys in Pride were drugged out of their minds. NOBODY looks the same in the UFC as they did in Pride, outside of Rampage. Cro Cop, Big Nog, Herring, Silva, Gomi (when he fought in the US against Diaz), you name them... when they came under drug testing, they lost, and/or looked awful. Then afterwards, you always hear the same thing... "that didn't look like that guy we are used to seeing".
