Here we go again. Personally, I'd prefer to see Belfort vs. Silva before a rematch. I think Vitor would fancy his chances after watching Silva get floored by Sonnen, and that could lead to an explosive striking match-up.
But if Silva is injured till next year, surely we will get Sonnen vs Belfort in the meantime, then the winner of that vs Silva?
Whats the point in this? Silva won clearly. Why give Sonnen another chance? I hope this time Silva breaks his face.
I see what you're saying but lets not forget, Sonnen did actually control the pace of the fight before he was submitted...I think Silva will beat him more convicingly this time around but I do see why there is a rematch in order. Cant speak for others but I would love to see this rematch!
Sonnels trash talk really got under my skin. it's probably a generational thing, but his trash talk seem to be pissing in the face of any honour or dignity. The debates will go on, but I tell you this now if I had the choice I would never pay a penny to watch a Sonnel fight. but I would pay a lot to watch Silva fight.

Outside of Belfort, he's the most deserving. It is also clearly the most popular choice. It was entertaining as hell, why not do it again? Silva goes in as the favorite, but Sonnen showed he can clearly get to him and win rounds.
I wouldn't like to see that fight at all, simply because if Belfort beats Sonnen (which to be fair, is likely) Sonnen would probably not get a rematch with Silva and we'd never find out what'd happen in a rematch. It has to happen soon.
This is kind of ridiculous....in a way. Belfort hasn't even fought in the UFC at 185. Not once since he left years ago. He fought Franklin at a catchweight at 195 at UFC 102? Geeze...I'm not exactly super-hyped to see him fight Silva. I'd like to see it, sure...but talk about being gifted a shot.
When u think of someone deserving a rematch im sure even the biggest hater of Sonnen would agree he deserves a re match.. Put yourself in his place..I for one would be demanding a re match..Bj got immediate re match and even if you felt he should of won,in no way was he as dominate as Sonnen was.. My mates and I sat there in shock for 23minutes as we witnessed a bloke whos balls we juggled in our mouths be absolutely dominated by a bloke who we seen as a journeyman-fringe contender at best.
