I pondered that also, but in their defence i suppose it has something to with hbo's coverage of teh fight card being longer than expected. The show was meant to be done and dusted by 05.00am but ended up fter 06.00am so they probably cut short for that reason. I really wanted to see post fight interview where Mayweather fight questions would have been asked to Manny and then comparisons of fighters by Mosley and a possible victor if they fight took place etc. Im just gutted i stayed up so late for such a fight and commentary. I hope Ed Robinson checks this thread out and takes notes. At least drop Nelson because he's such an idiot, his statements lack sense and substance and his bias is unreal for a supposed neutral. Look back to 'Ringside' where Groves and Degale had that heated meetup, Nelson was found out there. He had backed Groves to win after his Adamu win and then he turned to Degale on the sly after the Smith win. Groves basically said to Nelson to makes his mind up because he changes to suit the fighter he's infront of at the time. Nelon just stared back speechless before Adam Smith intervened and changed the subject abruptly.

They always be saying how fighters look to there corners which has never affected the outcome of the fight. They have never seen a bad stoppage. The ref is always perfect. Sorry for the swearing we are watching a fight at 3am but 1 child may be watching it. They suck so bad. Dated, and its like they have no opinion of there own

It was a clear cut fight. Mosley had absolutely no intention of fighting. He moved or clinched. Pac threw one punch at a time and Roach said to him go down the middle in combos. He failed horribly. Both seriously under peformed but Mosley should lose at least 50% of his purse after that peformance.
I think he only really got on his bike after Pac put him on his arse, he threw almost no right hands after that as he realised he was completely over matched and if he had taken another hit like that it was probably going to be the first time he'd been stopped. I don't think it's fair to with hold his purse because he never had a chance in the first place, someone who lost 2 years ago with Floyd was never going to trouble Pac. All in all, I'm getting a little tired of watching Pac fight people without a hope in hell of beating him. There always seems to be an angle with the top guys he's faced (ODLH, Hatton, Margo, Mosley) and now most likely Marquez fighting at a weight that'll be to much for him....hell it's the reason I think they've dragged there heels with Floyd so much, wait till he is a little older and the skills diminish (although the reason that fight hasn't happened is probably more 50 - 50 as to who is to blame). Pac is immensely talented, I just wish he would fight someone I think could give him even half a fight. Just noticed I got way off point but oh well
Good question, Timothy Bradley I suppose since obviously Khan would be a no - no, and if he was feeling crazy brave Martinez. Outside of that I'm flat the **** out of ideas. I'm guessing Bradley would not generate enough money and Martinez would just be a step to far up in weight even at catch weight. I guess I don't really know and JMM is probably as gooder choice as any, it's just...uninspiring.

There really is no one other than Mayweather. Pac would brutally KO Bradley IMO. I can't see bradley being competitive even ant 140 with Pac. Marquez at 144 would be more dangerous than Bradley at 140. Martinez is too big and too good. Arum would never go for it. Also I don't think he will fight above 147 again. Quick point about the thread title: "A new low" was the first phrase that came to my head. I didn't really think about it. I have heard worse commentary, even from sky. A better phrase would have been "I want Jim Watt to be restricted to studio analysis". Having said that his reactions can sometimes make a fight more exciting (Pac-Hatton).
Saying you're sick of seeing Pacquiao fighting guys with no chance is nothing but an acknowledgment of how special he is. He's fighting the best welterweights pretty much. What else can ya do?
Loved the way Nelson more or less tried to say the Pac is showing signs of age based on his performence in one fight.
