One's a typo, the other's just ignorant. Go figure.

Still, if you're going to be so condescending about others using a word in the wrong context you might want to check your own post for typos or spelling mistakes.

I'm not a big fan of Smith.

He gets to excitable, uses the same cliches all of the time, is not very insightful and asks an annoying amount of rhetorical questions.

    Indeed.

Smith is a very very poor commentator. The rhetorical questions are so irritating.

"is this prospect just a bit too quick for this teak tough ghanian... a man who has whipped himself into great shape for this one.. is he just not good enough at this level... against a top prospect who is getting all the praise outside of the ring.. is this a good learning fight for him or is he in too deep against this ghanian... or is this the right kind of learning fight at this stage.. this is a really good fight.. are the bookies right to favour this young prospect over this ghanian or have they got it wrong? etc"

    It's painful stuff.

"This is a close fought fight. Nip and tuck. Youth versus experience. Who's going to win?"

I don't know Adam. Thats why i am watching the ****ing fight. If i knew who was going to win i would have put my house on the winner and ****ed of to the pub to celebrate instead of watching the bloody thing.

  8. Why not criticise his rhetorical question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rofl

P.S. in Kansas (where i'm from) we don't tolerate that kind of **** either. People are sacked from local cable T.V. networks for less. I'm glad I watch the boxing with the sound down.

Smith and Watt did make laugh during the Munroe fight. I don't know if it was intentional, but some of the comments and Watt's unofficial score card were hilarious. I gave Munroe 1 round, that was the 4th. He had his moments in other rounds, but Nishioka had a much higher work rate in most of them. Take nothing away from Munroe though, he was up against a very classy fighter.

Also, did anyone else think that Nishioka could hear what the British commentary team were saying. Everytime they mentioned the possibility of Munroe taking the belt, Nishioka immediately came in with a 25 punch combo or crippling body shots etc. Then Jim would tell us that he couldn't split the fighters in that round
