    his last two fights. One if on the sickest card of the year with Marquez vs Katsidis and the other is his first 50-50 and is FOTY.

    Yeah it seemed odd that this was the most attractive fight that Berto has been in to date and sky weren't bothered at all.

    Well he Katisdis was because of the cricket (which everyone laughed at the time but was proven when the same thing happened with Hatton vs Alvarez) and I'm sure they'd have picked up the Berto fight if they still had the Khan fight. But once you lose the Khan fight then it becomes logistically awkward to broadcast the Berto fight (what do they do when HBO is broadcasting the Khan fight?)

    Berto-Ortiz wasn't seen as a 50/50 fight before the fight, the odds were similar to Berto-Collazo.

    Could it be to do with the promoters? Berto's last 2 fights have involved Golden Boy instead of just DiBella who could have been giving the fights to Sky for very little money.

    It was a savage fight no doubt, really enjoyed that one. Dont know if i'd say it could be FOTY so far though, the second half of the fight was a bit tame for that. Some of the fight's on Ishy's thread would get the nod ahead of it IMO.
