Got the better over Wlad? Is that why they were forced into signing a rematch clause for a mandatory?

You're in dream land if you think he earns more than Joshua. 50/50 is complete unrealistic when Joshua brings all the money to the table.

This idea of him being the "real" champion is nonsense to the people that matter - the casuals. They won't have been duped by the nonsense that was the first fight between Tyson and Wlad.

How many ppv do people think fury v Whyte would sell? No one would care.

Joshua did 400k v Dillan Whyte. 400k and people are questioning whether sky are making the correct decision in backing Joshua over Fury?

Joshua is huge and only going to get bigger. The guy is going to be a huge huge star.

PPV is so last century, but casuals are still suckered in as they were at the weekend. Sky and Hearn are just ripping these gullibles off.

The rematch clause/fight with Wlad is going to net Fury millions...much, much more then any other realistic fight that's available - plus it's in England it's hardly a slave contract.

The Klitschko's tried all there usual dirty tricks/intimidation tactics over in Germany for the first fight such as the spungy canvas etc but they where done over by team Fury - that's what I meant.

Look, Joshua is massive and him/sky bring the money no doubt but the boy seems quite level headed and himself recognises that beating up the likes of Martin who is a club fighter and probably the worst heavyweight champion of all time does not make him one of the legit big boys. And let's face it, the causls do love an AJ blow out of a bum but we all know this isn't going to last forever, as we Brits do so well we will bring to pull him down. He will need to fight Fury or possible Haye next year and he will have to pay 50 percent of the purse at least - that's how business works it's supply and demand

The fight was based around history there though that captured the imagination hype-wise with Joshua-Whyte. An isolated and easily promotable case.

And of course now less people would care as the precious 0 is valued so much in modern boxing. For the record though Whyte is all wrong for Fury anyway in my opinion.

Fury-Klitschko was still a better fight than Joshua-Martin.

Interest for the rematch will be high, believe it.
SKY backed Lennox Lewis when interest in him was low and his fights were dull.
SKY showed Joe Calzaghe v a shot old Roy Jones Jr. as a PPV after the incredibly dull Calzaghe-Hopkins fight.

Yeah, if you want to price yourself out like a chickensh!t b!tch.

Fury's the champion. He's not taking less than 50%.

Even Eddie Hearn is calling it a 50-50 split.

even if Joshua goes a week later he'll still be on Sky box office, they wont have Fury on box office on the 9th and Joshua on box office on the 16th

    Yeah, I'm talking sh!t.
It was Setanta who covered Calzaghe against Hopkins and RJJ.
And looked what happened to them. :D

That detail invalidates my whole argument.

Why? UFC is on in America in the early hours and has no bearing on any boxing from the UK on the night. Secondly UFC is not a big thing over here and still very much a niche sport.
