Don’t you agree that the fans are in such a weak state to think this about the 29 year old debuting Audley Harrison?

How the #1 would crush the #2 so badly?

If not, then can we carry this through till after the fight... not for my sake.

What I find more embarrassing is the "Best of enemies" tagline they're using.

    1) "Best of enemies" was a term used to describe the Benn v Eubank rivalry which was genuine and píssed all over this debacle.

    2) Haye and Audley are friends. They've been friends for years and they'll be friends afterwards. This seems more like Haye giving his friend a pay day and the shot he's always dreamed of, whilst knowing their is no danger of his part.

So yeah, what annoys me is the peddling of the fake rivalry in a desperate attempt to gain interest. It's like a wrestling angle and it's embarrassing. I'm not bothered about them hyping up Audley's chances, but they're acting like it's a grudge match on the century.

Yeah the Salita build up was dreadful, they didn't even really much material to even build from due to him never fighting anyone of significance, so wheras normally they say crap and then cite a fight as their reasoning, they were just talking out of the arses constantly, at the same time knowing they were and trying to keep a straight face.

In the days before the fight, my non boxing associates would be asking me "You think Khan is going to be able to beat this guy?", I had to hammer home to them that I'd be suprised if Salita made it to round 3 and to expect nothing from him but they still believed he was some kind of challenge for Khan.

I'm actually convinced Salita was a tramp on a street corner who 15 minutes before the fight they promised a sandwich and a hot drink if he dresses up like a boxer and stands in front on Amir Khan on national television.

They showed the one-half decent stoppage he has (from years ago) on a loop. That was all he had, most of us had seen him loads of times and knew he was eliw-average and feather fisted and was getting by on the most half-arsed of gimmicks.

Yeah thats the thing Squire, its fights like this that have the potential drive people away from Boxing. Its fights like this which make the people who would rather watch MMA than Boxing now, feel vindicated to of turned their back on Boxing and made the decision they made, and who is to say fights like this want be making the minds up of the next generation of fans?

Its **** like this that puts Boxing back on terrestrial television through lack of interest, so whilst Sky might steal a few quid here and there, it will most probably only hurt them in the long run.

The bookies were offering 11/10 on Khan by KO.

If I'd had my wits about me I'd have emptied all my accounts and banged it on.... was kicking myself for weeks :patsch
