    Wolak is not much.
Ishe was right. He is a dumb pressure fighter. I was hoping Ishe would eat his words, but by the 6th it was clear that Wolak smothers his own punches... seems to think that rapid right hooks to the body in a clinch mean something.... and couldn't land consistent clean head shots with actual power if you bribed the guy.

He was a flat out embarrassment. And that stunned look after not winning? Please, Wolak.... you're not that good.

    98-92 wolak!

they said ishe was exhausted after round 3 and wolak was mowing him down. they spoke of the decision as the worst robbery they'd seen, and openly mocked and insulted smith. even when smith stepped back anf flurried they said wolak was controlling the action and putting body work.

absolutely disgusting. it's like they're english ambassadors to poland or something.

Yeah, that Euro stuff was a travesty. But Showtime isn't totally innocent here either. They decided very early that Smith was going to outclass Wolak and kept yapping about it while Wolak was landing his few punches here and there. This is why they only had him winning 1 or 2 rounds before the decission came down, whereas arguably it was more like 3 or 4, as confirmed by the judges. Again, not nearly as bad as the Euro commentary, but still a little colored towards Smith.

My guess is that the European guys (was it a British channel?) scored Wolak's short side body punches while in the clinch or awarded him a lot of extra points for walking towards Smith, none of which they should have done. They should be banished to Australia.

On the bright side, kudos to Wolak's fans for the constant loud cheering, creating a really nice atmosphere in a messy, unexciting fight. Any regional fighter would kill to have such warm, unanimous support.
