As a first defence this isn't a bad Saturday night fights headliner, but as chief support for a big PPV fight? I couldn't give N'Dam about it.

That said I think Coyle Algieri will be a decent scrap, another fine Saturday night fights headliner.

Decent opponent for a tune up fight and NDam would be Smith's 3rd best oponent on his resume.

 

Lot of politics to unify smw going against Smith, billy joe would be easiest fight to make (not including regular belt holder canelo) but Hearn still got to deal with Frank.

While I see what you’re saying BJS didn’t hold a world title at the time, let alone the ring magazine belt, supposedly making him number one in the division...and if that fight was chief support it’d have been considered shocking too.

It’s a crap fight...especially as chief support on a supposed mega card in as iconic a venue as MSG.

Can’t believe they couldn’t find a better opponent, embarrassing.

I can't see this doing decent numbers here, 4am main event, AJ Vs a late substitute and a man not many casuals have heard of, nothing remotely entertaining before the main event and Sky/Hearn want to charge people £20 for the privilege.

That irritated me, £20 for a fight night that time of the morning, surely because of the time and the fact it's a bang average card at best I thought they might lower the price.

They are so greedy, it actually annoys me, I won't be buying it, I doubt I'll even watch it.
