Terrible fight, even for a come back after a long lay off. Ward should actually get a stoppage in this one.

Smith obviously isn't in Ward's league. This will be an easy victory for Andre. To be honest, I'd have liked to have seen him face a higher level of opponent, even though it's a tune-up fight. But, really, who else would've taken the fight?

Well this will do wonders for Ward's viewing figures. Is this going to be HBO PPV?

Paul Smith really does come across as a bit of a bellend. He's the luckiest man in boxing at the moment. Fair play, though. With the two Abraham fights and this he'll have earned a very nice wedge. He'll lose and then probably have a big fight back here in Liverpool with Rocky Fielding and have another nice payday. He'll be pretty much set for life after his next couple of fights.

His best win is Tony Dodson though. He's AT BEST European level and he deludes himself into thinking he's actual a world level fighter. Yeah he done well against an ageing Abraham but he's really limited. For what it's worth I think Rocky beats him and I think it's a fight he wants to avoid. Rocky stylistically is all wrong for him.

iv only ever watched smith fight once and that was his 2nd fight with abrahams that absolutely hammered him for 12 rounds , anyone that thinks that fight was close is crazy . i cant stand ward myself as he is sooo boring to watch but at end of the day he will not have to come out of 2nd gear to beat smith . he may have a bit of ring rust but thats it , just another 12 round shut out bore fest , its certainly not a fight i am bothered about watching .

I think Abraham showed in the rematch that he did well against not only an ageing Abraham, but an unmotivated Abraham.

He got completely outclassed in the rematch.

This fight isn't surprising, history is littered with big names vs mediocre contenders. Paul Smith is making the most of his opportunities. Think he will get stopped about round 5.
