I don't think we should overturn this result because that wouldn't be fair as the rules were the rules going in and perhaps guys like rooq did pick based on hometown advantage, but in future it should be a consideration in blatant robberies.

 

For the 2010 competition an official result could go to a ballot of participants - if necessary?

It would have to be a genuine robbery though along the lines of the Watson fight.... not a 116-112 decision that ought to have been a bit closer but no case could be made for the loser.

 

a compromise could be for people who picked watson to not get a L on their record, but people who picked o'donnel to still get the W.
