As a small side-note. My buddy and I were ringside for Moorer-Cooper. Our seats were next to Weird Al Yankovich (go figure?) and diagonal from Donald Trump (who was entertaining some model) It started out as a very pro-Moorer crowd, but Bert quickly won them over after a crazy first round shootout. My friend and I were literally standing on our seats screaming for Bert and got the crowd going. When it was finally stopped, some John Gotti looking guy in a dark Italian suit and glasses grabbed my arm and said "You was robbed" I felt like Bert's stock ascended even with the loss. I gave Bert a bro-hug as he descended from the ring.
Great stories man. Bert put the fear of God into some real top-shelf heavyweight talent. I bet Moorer, Holyfield and Mercer will never forget their fights with Bert.
I forgot how involved Trump was with Boxing in the late 80's-early '90's. Spinks/****ey was held in Trump's hotel in AC if I remember correctly. During the PPV, they mentioned Trump like 1,000 times and showed him in the crowd. During his presidential campaign, Don uses sports terminology quite a bit. He seems to especially like the term "choke."
Always wondered how much these models love money to be with so ugly and hard-hearted dude like Trump. Money should be love of her life
