People always say Floyd doesn't fight people in their prime, if he fights Canelo and wins people will say that Canelo was never any good anyway. Haters gonna hate.

I'll give Floyd his props if he fights Kid Ginger. However, Floyd isn't a natural 154 pounder and he knows it too. He was getting outmuscled and roughed up by Cotto in close. Canelo is much bigger, stronger, and has better handspeed, power, and combination punching than Cotto, not too mention sound technical fundamentals and good timing/punch placement. Since Floyd will not fight Martinez, Canelo is his biggest challenge left, and stands a very good chance of winning fairly (or unfairly) with this aging, undersized, declining Floyd, because GBP needs a new star for the future. Mayweather could very easily get screwed like Manny did against Bradley (though I think Canelo might have what it takes to beat Floyd fairly by mid-late 2013.) It absolutely would not be a cherry pick if Floyd fights Canelo, he'd deserve a lot of respect if he did, but as of now, it's a duck until the moment he gets in the ring with him.
