Its a double standard point blank. Yes mayweather fail to make weight but so what? he was still under 147 pounds and plus he only had 4 pound weight advantage like pac did last night vs marquez. And you hit the nail right on the head about mayweather was coming off a big big layoff.

    Styles.Make.Fights.

Marquez is at his best when playing the role of the counterpuncher, but Floyd is even better at it. These two guys could fight a million times and I think Floyd gets the "W". Floyd is too fast and defensively superior.

Even though he pulled a ***** move at the scales, I think you get the same result today.

How is fighting the guy many people just thought beat Pacquiao a cherry pick, after two years off aswell

Juan was a valid fight for PAC 2 more times but a cherry pick for Floyd

Floyd missed weight which was bad, that's it, it didn't effect the actual outcome

How you adjust to a weight that you barely fought in? adjust to the weight is just a crock of sh4t garbage excuse to discredit. Its like saying cotto adjust to a bs catchweight vs pac in which means what bodyshot99, pac win over cotto wasnt a good win either?

as good as jmm looked last night, i doubt he wins against mayweather at any weight. yeah, i think mayweather should be given credit for dominating marquez when no one has. not pac, not john nor norwood.

Solid win but nothing special, it really wasnt ideal for Marquez at the time.

After this win marquez won't be calling out mayweather. That should tell you all you need to know.

I think he deserves credit. It was such a one sided wipeout that ppl don't give him any cuz he made it look so easy

You think marquez will beat mayweather this time in a rematch? Or same result? If same result then his won over marquez is far more then just a solid win.

He deserves credit, but people see the fight for what it was. You simply can't sit there and pretend it was the same Marquez as the one we just saw and showed up for fight 3.

And let's dispel the myth size had nothing to do with it, shall we? Anytime JMM got inside, May muscled him out effortlessly. Not sure Marquez beats him, style and skill are a big hurtle, but it's safe to say he does better, assuming JMM trains for speed and not power.

May did no such thing. Floyd was to quick and to slick for marquez. Had **** all to do with with muscling marquez out.
