this is 100 percent ppv. a great fight and kudos to gbp for taking on pw who they must believe is shot. i believe pw puts out his best effort since winky and wins convincingly. for me, this is the most anticipated fight of 2012 second only to haye/chisora.
Don't forget to add the Cintron fight...You know, the one where Williams was looking like **** against an orthodox fighter, who lucky for Williams, is a mental midget and decided to jump off the ring like a frog. Just sayin'
I like this fight, should be good. Williams is a very live underdog and has a much better chance than most are giving him. Disappointing that this is on ppv, it should be on regular HBO where it would be a nice fit. I know Alvarez has been on HBO/ppv a number of times and has a large Mexican following but I don't think he's a ppv star at this point. I guess this will tell us if he is or isn't. One fight GBP is talking about putting on the undercard is Gonzalez-DeLeon. I like Gonzalez and this is a competitive match up but I just can't get excited about watching Ponce De Leon. He seems to pop up on a lot of GBP ppv's/HBO cards and I wish he wouldn't.
You guys are cute, especially that dude with the very long post of his analysis on Williams winning. GBP set up a great fight for Canelo. Canelo UD and possible tko in the 10th. I'll be bumping this thread after the fight, just to show you guys how bias you guys are against Canelo. Also, to laugh at you guys.
Really? I'd be more willing to shell out my money for a fight/card like this than some of the Pacquiao mismatches the past few fights. Two elite, if not on the cusp of being elite, action fighters. And a pick-em fight IMO.
