I figured it would be PPV, as will all of Canelo's future bouts... Need to see the undercard before I say I'll buy it or not, there's more to a card then the main event.

First you ***** about Canelo being protected, then they put the punisher in front of him and now you ***** about it being ppv.

I'll definately be buying it. Williams comes to fight so it will be full of excitement. I am pretty sure GBP will load the undercard as well, so it will be worth it.

No one (serious at least) is saying it's a bad fight. Just NOT PPV caliber. If GBP really wants to showcase Canelo, and make him their flagship fighters, he needs to be on something that goes out to WAAAY more people then will purchase PPV. HBO cable has approx 15 mill subscribers. What will this sell, maybe 250K if that?

I believe those two are discounted PPV's, often set up and distributed by the promoter. Not full fledged $50-70 PPV's HBO puts on.

Yeah they are and even at a discount they are too pricey, in my opinion. So is this Canelo vs Williams a full fledged $60+ PPV? :think

I wouldn't be against low level PPV's, say $30 range. But the main purpose of many PPV's to pay the fighter his expected purse, so that might not fly. What did Canelo make in his last fight vs. Mosley? Any idea?

The message is that it isn't a ppv worthy fight. The true and deeper message is that people are just finding something to ***** about.

You and the rest of the female ***gets here need to just stfu and be grateful that GBP is making Canelo vs Williams, and not Canelo vs Quintana or some other weak as ****.

If this fight does big numbers as a PPV Floyd's fans gonna be saying it was Paul that sold the card. They don't wanna admit that Canelo was responsible for helping make that last PPV. Now their gonna organize a boycott and a pirate campaign.

:patsch Get a ****in grip and get off your high horse dude. First off, Canelo vs. Quintana wouldn't be a bad fight either. You just have no clue what kinds of fights SHOULD be on PPV, and what should be on regular subsciption cable TV. Read my other posts on this. You just don't know any better, and are the one sounding like a *****.

You know what it takes to build a long lasting star? Constant exposure to a LARGE audience. For the most part, as large as you can get. Not dropping them on PPV's when they are even yet to establish themselves as consistent sellers to the large market.

Like I said, you just don't know any better. You were playing Power Rangers dolls when top fighters STILL fought on network TV kid.

Exactly! I'm stoked for this fight. And it will greatly depend on the undercard on whether I will buy this. But for the main event, the undercard has to have 2 EXCELLENT fights to support it. Not just a showcase bout w/ an up and comer vs. an old name. Been fed that enough.
