Lomachenko was campaigning at 130 claiming to be a champion. The champion called him out and Lomachenko did not take the challenge. Call it what you want. This is a fight that needs to happen. We already lost the Mikey fight, I hope we don't lose this one too.

We all saw how much of a hard time Loma had with Salido. Then Arum not wanting to pay Salido for a rematch.

Linares is a good fighter but EVERYONE knew he was not out boxing the master boxer. We want to see Loma face his demon and fight a top level brawler.

Lomachenko was a champion and the recognised number 1 at the division before Berchelt was even a title holder.

Reading isn't your strong suit. I never said I OWN any words dumbass... it's painfully clear you need other posters to come up with phrasing for you to use. Hell...you need HATERS to create criteria for you to use as we've seen recently.

The first fault in your argument is that Arum has been quoted offering Salido the rematch twice, in one of those offers Salido's manager confirmed it and said that they rejected it because they didn't like the money.

The second fault in your argument is that Berchelt is a boxer-puncher, he's far from a top level brawler. He has the tendency to brawl but he's predictable and gets hit a lot when he does so, he's most effective when he controls the range and works behind the jab. I was one of the few around here who picked him to beat Vargas when they first fought, so I was studying him long before you were even familiar with him. Further proof of your opinion being shaped by nationalistic bias.

Yep. I definitely agree with you that inactivity is a big factor. I'm much the same ... I hate waiting almost a year sometimes, for fighters I follow to actually fight.

Haney was his mandatory for his WBC title. Commey already has a fight with Lopez. So Loma has no opponent. He knows Haney is a dangerous fight.

It’s no more dangerous than Commey or Lopez and if I recall he said that the winner was his next opponent before Haney claimed he was being ducked.

However Haney is now fighting the dangerous TBA so he has a fight already sorted out too.

These boxing championships/belts have been ridiculous for a good 30-40 yrs now. It's not a recent thing, it's just getting beyond ridiculous at this point in time.

Exactly the opposite is true actually. Casuals don't know who the players are. The belts give them the illusion that they are watching top quality operators.

Ring belt doesn't matter. They gave it to Cotto when it was clear that GGG deserved it. They compounded their error letting Canelo keep it while going back down to light middle for years and never fighting at the full weight. Then they sold their credibility again by pretending Canelo won both fights against GGG. **** like that, there's no recovering from. You can only lose your integrity once. Lineal's pretty much a joke too what with politics.
