Golden Boy requested the mandatory position so they want the fight.

As I would. Collect a title. Canelo destroys BJS

So Canelo and GBP don't want to go into GGG negotiations beltless. I get that. It'll be interesting to see what Frank Warren will be able to offer as a purse in comparison to Oscar. He should put a decent one in just to milk GBP.

With the weight of BT behind him, I think FW will go big on this one and try and bring it over here. BJS is one of the only top guys he has left so will want to keep him sweet.

I initially thought BJS would beat Canelo with little problem but Saunder's lifestyle, lack of action and recent showing proves otherwise.

It's a good fight, one in which BJS is more than capable of winning but if it does happen I'd go with Canelo who's skills and punch selection are second to none and he lives the life of an athlete.

Hopefully BJS gets a good payday win or lose.

There is zero chance of Canelo coming here, it's not even an option.

I wouldn't say Saunders has milked it as much as Canelo, since most people don't even know who he is, and the WBO middleweight belt is nothing really.
Milking it implies making money with easy defences etc.
I can't imagine Saunders has done well financially from his 12 months as WBO champion.

I get your point, but Saunders wanted TWO tune up's before fighting a world class fighter. Wanted GGG when he was 38/9.

He's had an easy defence and now wants two more. That's milking it.

Easy payday for Canelo. BJS is finished physically and mentally at top level. Chats shite like he's a p4p champ! One of the worse mw champs ever and he knows it. You can see in his eyes in his latest interviews he's done!

Canelo isn't traveling so if purse bids were called Frank would likely bid stupidly high, possibly win and call Canelo's bluff. I'd then suspect a Canelo pullout.

I agree that on current form Canelo stops Saunders easily.

Doubt Canelo will take the fight, especially as a mandatory where you get less than the champ.

Canelo will fight Chavez then GGG.
Saunders will fight Langford, then Khurtsidze, then the GGG-Canelo winner in a unification

Its ironic that BJS would not be prepared to travel isnt it?

Sorry mate couldn't disagree more. They will show the fight but Canelo does 300K vs a bum in America with the amount they charge for PPV. Frank hosts fights in leisure centres

Won't get to purse bid. BJS is a mercenary who is in it for the money. Canelo is the money fight

Canelo is looking like fighting Chavez - not Billy Joe.
