I'm done defending him on the boards....unless I see major change. He's a cool guy, I'm glad we have friends in common and have hung out a bit. But coming into a fight in that shape is unprofessional.

He's a Friday Night Fights guy.

Arreola is 6'3. In his prior fights he was mentioned as 6'4.

Spinal compression. It's setting in early with him.

He was never 6'4 to begin with.

He's not quite that tall. Wish I could post a picture. I'm right about 6'4" and am a good two inches taller than Cris. The guy who introduced us is about 5'11" and Cris lines up right between us.

Okay here is the truth....ALL boxing forum posters believe that EVERY boxer is born shot, over rated and should retire from the moment of birth (except those who are crowned as the next coming of Jesus Christ like De La Hoya and Pacquiao were)

Sadly this is probably the bottom line. Either the motivation and drive to be a world champ is there or it isn't. You could say after Vitali, "Well, he learned his lesson". But two more losses since then and never coming in fit? The desire won't increase with age.

He has two punches...he's gotten so basic and predictable that there's no way he ever makes a real impact. When you mix that with his obvious inability to get in shape, and how that impacts his already marginal hand speed...it's over breh.
