Montreal. 15,000+ would attend the fight, guaranteed. The fight would air live on the East Coast, prime time. It has to be business + personal...I mean...if Pascal can take everything Froch's got for 12 rounds AND still beat him in his own backyard, with an English ref and judges who are going to give Froch a bit of a helping hand...he must be better...so...he wouldn't pick Pascal because Froch'd be more dangerous to Taylor...

You cannot really expect to dodge challengers, get the easiest possible route to a title and still expect to fight the best risk/reward in the business in your very next fight, if you win. It can happen, but then you've been very lucky.

    Agree Kessler is the man.

Inkin pulled out 3 times against Froch. Bute would be a good test as to where he's at. But Froch's already got a hard-on about the WBC belt, he was taking potshots at calzaghe about it being the best belt and so-on and i cant see him vacating or putting it in danger.

Could be a frustrating time ahead for Froch. Agree he needs much needed exposure to move forward, it's where it comes from is the problem. Maybe Andrade or Miranda?. Would they go the U.K tho?.

I dont expect anything from Froch yet, he's untested.

He did not. He pulled out the first time with an injury, the fight was postponed and then he got the flu, so they had to get in Ribacky for the TV date not to be scrapped. He then went the WBO route against Zuniga because it was faster and easier than the WBC route. You could argue that he did dodge Froch, but not three times.

Probably, he's got an ego as big as his nose.

think i should point out im not a big froch fan. I think he's talented and can be troublesome for people in the division, but i havent seen enough of him to get overly excited. I will wait and see.

I don't see a world class fighter in Froch at all, he talks a good game and hits hard. But hes sloppy and defensively terrible. Taylor would UD him.

In professional boxing, a fighter with a very good chin and very good power can go a long way and beat many very good fighters on his day, if he is disciplined and hungry enough.:good

Ive just been wathcing Pascal on you tube. He looks like a weak version of a blown up berto. His shots loop, dont have the speed or steam of a berto punch, but both guys show the same defensive weakness.

Froch should be able to get to Pascal pretty easily. Of course, the converse is true Froch doesnt have the hand speed to keep hsi hands down at his sides liek he does. Taylor could easily outpoint Froch using his jab alone.

Lol, exactly as I have been predicting.

But lots of posters around here kept telling me that I was wrong, Taylor will fight anyone, yadda yadda.

Taylor wants no part of Froch.

Yea you're right, if I had a choice I would rather fight Froch than Calzaghe. Afterall, Froch is more proven and clearly a better scalp:patsch

I'll be happy to give him a pass if he turns down Froch for Calzaghe.

    Kessler also. Hopkins.

    Don't think any are likely.

But if he turns down Froch to fight some American-based journeyman, will you call him on it?

JT does not call his own fights. He lets his promoter do it. One thing you cannot say about JT is that he doesnt take tough fights. FFS Bhop would win every rd versus a Froch. Taylor will handle him easy enough.

But, like every promoter they want the big money. I for one would love to see Taylor travel to the UK and fight Froch in front of his fans. As always though, no really good USA fighter will travel to the UK.
