I saw that clip on the Countdown to Cotto Margarito. I was impressed with it instead of shocked. Antonio is obviously a young kid and gets hit pretty square with a power right. He drops hard but damn if he doesn't get right up and shake it off looking at the ref calmly and getting back to work. The man (kid) takes one helluva shot!

Na **** outta here... Younger days are 5 years after fight professionaly and afer having 20 fights professionaly? Thats bull****...

If thats true the Cotto was only rocked in his younger days since the Torres and Corley fight happened 4 years after he began boxing professionaly.

ANTONIO MARGARITO WAS 21 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME OF THE FIGHT.

Cotto has not been rocked sense Torres. Mosley never hurt Cotto in the slightest bit.

I agree with you in that I dont believe Mosley ever hurt Cotto. A lot of people seem to think he did. However, Zab did stun the **** out of him with that uppercut.

Zab also beat PBF for the first four rounds of there fight. Zab took PBF the distance. Cotto came out guns blazin and tkoed Judah.

Margarito's chin obviously isn't granite. The definition of granite (or iron) is a fighter who barely gets affected by punches (Andrade for example, a prime Mayorga, or Mosley). Margarito clearly gets affected by punches. He's been stunned many times, he slows down on many occasions after getting hit flush, etc.

The Cintron fights didn't prove Margarito's chin at all. Cintron never got into the correct range to unload his power shots and both times he just ended up trading punches inside like an idiot. Also, Cintron is one of those guys who doesn't punch with full force when he's not relaxed during a fight. On Saturday Margarito will not only be taking the biggest power punches he's ever had to take, but Cotto is in a whole different league when it comes to accuracy/timing/unpredictability if you compare him to anyone Margarito has fought. It doesn't help that Margarito's skin cuts/swells up easily and Cotto probably punishes faces more brutally than anybody in the sport. I will be very surprised if Margarito makes it to the championship rounds. Cotto will be more motivated than ever and he will not simply be outboxing Margarito, he will be punishing him and making him pay for his mistakes (and with Margarito's **** defense, he will get unlimited chances).

Agreed Cotto will have openings all night to clock Margarito. Margo blocks punchs with his head.
