It sounds like a no brainer at this point. Does this lure PBF out of retirement to shut up the masses once and for all? In a last battle - the established pfp #1 (pac) would now be the draw that PBF is looking for no? I think we may see this fight in 09... any opinions? Also- if this fight does come to be, will it quiet the haters/critics as to who is pfp weather or not Floyd or Pac win?
I think after last night it's clear PBF will get out of retirement. I believe he won't go straight after Pac but he'll try to fight the winner of Hatton-Pac instead.
I think Oscar pretty much has it set up for Pac to fight Hatton at this point. It was all part of his plan from the get-go.
Certainly would be great promotion behind, specially with PBF playing the bad guy. The battle for p4p #1. Im afraid to say though that even if PBF did beat Pac...it still doesnt prove he is p4p #1. PBF would be at his best natural weight whilst Pac is not, regardless of his body size right now.
I think After what Pacquiao did last night will only keep Mayweather IN retirement. There goes another guy Floyd will not want to face. Why do you think he retired in the first place. So he doesn't take a beating like the way Oscar did last night. Even though Oscar is obviously shot, Mayweather will get beat. He will not be able to control Pac's speed and movement. And the defense Pac has been showing lately has been very good.
