It makes perfect sense. No reason to beat a relatively unknown fighter, its better to let the hype machine climax so that you can earn the biggest pay day possible. Floyd knows he is miles ahead of everyone else, no reason to prove it immediately when theres more money to be made. I was angry when Williams lost, now there is only one guy left with any hope and thats Cotto lol. And atleast you could say Williams beats Mayweather from a physical standpoint, Cotto has no chance.
