You mean white and Filipino fans discrediting Charlo who fought a tough VM, and Charlo is being criticized as boring? It happens BE. I wouldn't blame any one race though.

What's funny is that when you discredit GG's wins over overmatched guys, and ask when is GG going to be in a real fight...you are first told about the GG's opponents qualifications , and if that isn't good enough for you...you are then shytted on personally and told the same thing about race. Don't worry about it.

"Not exciting" is the new term for "overrated" these days.

How are they over hyped? How much hype does they actually get? I'd favor themagainst most 154 pounders not named Canelo, Lara, and Andrade. The Williams fight would be interesting, and I think they both beat Bundrage.

The Charlo brothers are good. I don't know if they have that "it" in them. They can't fight inside to me. I like versatile fighters. They might be good pros, but they are not my cup of tea. But they aren't overrated.

Well their team had it a draw.

And GGG is a big star that HBO are building their scheduling around.

Charlo is NOWHERE NEAR that level.
    He wasnt even top billing

This is ESB. With the exception of a few, it is very challenging to take a majority of the threads on here for face value. This is entertainment to me. I get a laugh literally every time I log on:lol:

Lara is a lot better than most give him credit for, probably the best at light middleweight right now, probably top ten p4p even; but even he had a close fight with Vanes Martirosyan. It went to a draw because Vanes got cut, but if it had two more rounds Lara was coming on and Vanes was fading so it would have gone Lara's way. Still, Lara didn't look great against Martirosyan like he did against Paul Williams. Not one of his better performances.

He doesn't punch enough, so even though he lands at 45 percent and only get's hit about 16 percent it looks like he's not doing anything and Martirosyan stole rounds like Saul Alvarez did just chasing him, standing in front and missing. It looked close to me before I saw those fight stats.

My point is that Martirosyan is a good contender and it's probably hard for anyone to look excellent against him. Lara didn't. Charlo didn't. Maybe Andrade did. I don't know. I'll have to watch that tape. For now, Charlo got the win.

I don't get how a division with Mayweather, Lara, Alvarez, and Andrade gets called a weak division, then the same people turn around and talk about how cruiserweight is a great division. You folks are high.

It is a weak division, comparatively. Historically it's had some terrific fighters.

Save Mayweather, who is about to go into his third bout against a non junior middleweight fighter there's none there I see as anything other than a possible cash cow.

charlo did good...beat a top 6 jmw in vanes...vanes has tremendous amateur and professional experience...far more than charlo. still charlo was able to win in his first big step up fight....says a lot about charlo. unlimited potential.
