    So the fight has been made...but why Cotto's title is on the line and not Pacquiao's?

    Answer - because anything between 140 & 147 is classed as a WWT fight.

    shane wouldnt make it..hed come in at the weigh in around 142 dehydrated and weak! The fight could be xeled...

    As far as the belts i dont think either belt should be on the line...if the fight is at 145 than that isn't a division so he needa add the 2 lbs to get a shot at the ww title cotto has!

    You asked a question... the man answered your question by enlightening your dumb ass as to how things work & really, you shouldnt be here if you dont realise that you cant fight for a 140 lb title weighing more than 140 lbs, seriously, Ive never heard of anyone that didnt know this, basic schoolboy **** my man, schoolboy ****.

    lol. this comment is actually for you. how can you fight for the jr. welterweight title when you are fighting above its limit which is from just above 135 and 140.

    seriously, you guys can hate on pacquiao, but do not bring some dumb argument to express it.

    PUtting aside the fact that the origninal thread question is moronic in every way, Why the **** would Cotto want an IBO title anyway. Stop acting like these titles are real people, it's bad enough to have WBO, IBF, WBA and WBC without your guys trying to act like IBO should also be recognized.
