What's this have to do with Mayweather? Don't change the topic.

    Margo hasn't fought 3 times a year since 01.

That's exactly what I'm saying, though I'm pretty damn sure if Mayweather had a loss to someone he would look to avenge it immediately. He has a close fight with Castillo and a rematch was signed immediately. This guy has half a dozen losses and they all "don't matter" to his fans.

By fighting Manuel Gomez and Six Heads Lewis?

Fact is there were nearly 6 different unified undisputed champions in the division, yet Margarito thought the WBO title was way better. If it's anyone's fault he didn't get the major fights it's his, not Mayweather's.

Mayweather was the one looking for the #1 ranked Welterweight in the division, was Margarito ranked #1?

Yeah, he's very active alright. Want to see someone who is really active?, look at Paul Williams.

Twice a year is fine for a guy like Margarito. Especially when he has faced 2 top welterweights this year already. He's on pace to fight 3 times next year I believe and I'm sure he will be facing a couple of more top welterweights including Cotto.

What about the man that beat him?, top Welterweights is fine but shouldn't the man that beat him be the first target?

I here ya man, I want to see the fight as much as anybody. I honestly don't know why a deal can't be reached between thesetwo. I definitely want to see a 2nd fight. And I've been saying all along that I think Williams takes the rematch.

A deal can be reached but Margarito's team want none of it at the moment so he can make some money fighting safer opponents before taking this one. I'll actually be surprised if they ever take it to be honest with you.

Agreed about the mentality thing, he really has to work on that AND his tactics if he wants to be succesful against the other top dogs, his strategy was stupid at best in the rematch with Margo. I'd like to see him tested some more, apart from Margarito.
But I don't think I'm overrating him in terms of pure power. Find me another guy in the division who hits as hard as Cintron. Margarito, Williams, Clottey, Berto, Cotto? As far as one-punch KO power is concerned, I think Cintron is on top in that department.

I'm a big Margarito fan but I have to question how much longer he will be able to make the 147 pound limit. He really packs it on between fights and if he keeps cutting weight it will eventually bite him in the ass. I would be very surprised if he takes more than 2 fights at 147.:smoke :smoke

Oh wow, he's in talks.... We all know how talks can easily turn into smoke.

That doesn't change the fact that he's opted to take the rest of the year off and only fight twice this year.
