I don't see how anyone can realistically rate Beterbiev higher than Kovalev . Kovalev has the better resume and is the man at 175 pounds Period.
Some people rank him as high based on talent and they use his amateur pedigree as an indication, plus his two wins over Kovalev in the amateurs but one of those is considered to be a robbery by many. I never saw either match.
Yeah totally then you get the usual crew on here calling him for his resume. Here's an idea why don't we just start adding all those that duck to their resumes.
Here a copy of the ruling of the IBF on the situation @ABeterbiev and @sullivanbarrera . This content is protected https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C7FgJD0X4AAhI9P.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C7FgL9tXkAEpMSI.jpg
Really thought he'd have more exposure by now... Honestly, not looking too good for his career. His management obviously is having trouble finding opponents. Everyone ranked above him can get an easier fight for more money.... I think his best bet is to follow the Golovkin model... Go on a world tour of KOing bums. But I feel like he is behind where GGG was at 32. At 32 GGG was fighting Murray and was already making a name for himself. If I were Beterbiev I would just try to fight 5 easy opponents this year, just padding the record is all you need sometimes to get an offer for a slightly better opponent.
