The Cunningham fight was the fight that started to make me a big fan of Fury's. Not sure why everyone criticizes him for that one, that was an impressive fight. Cunningham was legit.
I've been watching Fury since 2009, he wasn't very impressive back then. He beat Chisora in 2011 (just before Chisora was robbed against Helenius) and he really showed some improvements 2012. The Cunningham fight proved he was a legit contender.
It was an exciting fight too.

How does that translate to staggering around like a drunk everytime he was hit?

He was hurt in round 5 and 6, we all know that.

fury was losing to cunningham, idiot. he won by laying on himin the clinches to wear him down. cunningham couldn't even cut it at cw anymore either. you know jack **** about anything.

Poor and inaccurate comeback, pretty much what i expected.

How did a fleet footed former cruiser get dragged into clinches with a bigger slower man if he was winning the fight ?

A young HW contender trying to reach the highest level. It happens to many fighters actually. Once they reach their highest goal and become world champion, they lose their hunger.

No **** Sherlock, the fight was in the States and the American guy was winning, well theres a turn up for the books.

Cunningham got lucky with a windmill right hand against a clowning Fury, but 5 rounds later he was knocked senseless with a Fury right hand.

Interesting that you use the clinching aspect as an argument, yet fail to deal with the fact that Cunningham was the one who initiated the clinches, and if my memory serves me correctly thats precisely what he was trying to do a second before Fury slapped him senseless.

Tell you what, i'll get my 7 year old Grandson to debate with you next time, give you a chance.

I'm going by history as well as what I have seen and he won't be the same again. He's lost all momentum. The state of his fat body shows a lack of hunger in being the best for more than one moment. I don't think he'll be the same ever gain and would be asking to get knocked out if he does step in the ring. Probably needs to happen with all the fury trolls that are around.

You just proved you know nothing about boxing and certainly have never stepped in the ring before. Not a single punch has to land for a fighter to learn a tremendous amount especially from a master boxer like Wlad

Cocaine killed plenty of very good fighters, the legs seem to be the most affected. How Fury looks on the Pads is irrelevant. Mike Tyson looked sharp on the pads before he fought Francois Botha.
That being said I hope he makes it. I sympathize with people who struggle with depression and drug abuse. He is very Talented we havent had a top boxer/mover Ali/Hlmes/Tony Tucker-type HW in a very long time
