Just seen it on YouTube, Holy got out of jail there. He was tried, cut and getting wobbled.

Surely that fight has got to make him realize its time to hang 'em up?

Williams won that fight. Do you think if Holy had fairly cut Williams, rocked him, and he quit on his stool it would have been declared an NC? Don't think so :patsch

Really, really similar to Rahman-Toney II. Two pretty dull even rounds, a cut and then Toney/Williams on top in the third leading to a fight stoppage.

Rahman got a ton of stick for that, and it looks like Holyfield is as well (though with a few more defenders, natch). Rules are rules and I don't blame them for manipulating the situation, even if it's pretty obvious.

Lord knows Herbie Hide wishes he could've had the US system in his loss to that German guy back around '03.

Holyfield can still bounce around fine, his punching technique is fine and really his punch speech is pretty decent still too. Problem is, problem has always been as the years have gone on, that his reflexes are poor.

Moreover, I think the terror of losing out on the Denmark payday was the big motivator here. Nothing hurts Holyfield more than getting hit in the pocket, throughout his career (just as Ace Miranda).

That shouldn't be allowed. :nonoYou should have had to experience the acrobats, Ray Charles and the undercard fights before viewing the "highlight" of the show.
