Dimitrenko has a shaky chin and no stamina. Ustinov make a Larsen look like Ali in terms of punching prowess. While I have no doubts Pulev would beat Larsen, he wouldnt be KOing him by any means. And don't for a second think Dimitrenko makes it past 5 vs Solis. Odlanier would KHTFO and look to have his power back.:think
He regressed physically and technically but I hope he still has something left and keeps losing weight maybe he just needs a top fighter to fight to the best of his abilities some fighters just do enough to win and look disappointing when fighting lower level oposition because of that
He has skill but lacks the dedication to get in shape. He also doesn't have the desire or workrate to make an impact. His fight with Larsen was terrible. His previous fight with Airich was also ****. He just plods along without a care in the world doing just enough to win. Given that the division is open enough for him to make some inroads and challenge Wlad, you have to be dissapointed with him. The thing is, against Vitali, in patches obviously, he showed glimpses of what he is capable of. He seems to lack some of the fundamental work ethic needed to succeed.
Is it so Ludacris to suggest that Larsen who was 17-0 with 14 kos.. would be a hrd match for many...he has a chin harder than wach, and hits much harder...and is mores skillful.solis said Larsen is one of the toughest men he ever fought. he didn't say that about haye or vitali...
When you get knocked out in the 1st round by a single punch the toughness is implied. I do agree that it wouldn't be so easy to get rid of Larsen, who appears to have a very good chin and a lot of power.
in my eyes vitali is the best heavyweight in the world...but we all know the solis fight was his knee giving out, not solis being knocked out...he went down and wasn't in any way dazed just holding his leg...and he was standing weird before vitali ran up to him...and he fell without being touched...in SHAPE solis can POSSIBLY beat anyone...
i wonder if these people bashing solis would have the balls to put money against him in his upcoming fights...even if he comes in like a fat pig..
I'd rate him as a top 20 HW probably, but I personally seem to think a little less of his H2H talent than a good few on here.
Solis' hype comes from landing a few punches on Vitali in the first round, a round where he was also KO'ed :dead
Did you ever watch him as an amateur? :huh He even beat Haye (one of my favorite fighters) at the world Amateur Championships and a Gold at Athens although that was awhile ago. If you're new to the sport then apologies. :bbb
